Field Trip

Yesterday, my mom and I took nine little ones on a field trip. That's right: I said nine. Don't let the number fool you, though---it was fun, fun, FUN. Mom has a home daycare for teachers' kids and keeps six children during the school year. She had two extras this week, which means all together we loaded up eight children, plus Fred, and headed to hear the heart-pumping sirens and see the shiny, candy apple red fire trucks at the nearest station.









Afterwards, we took the crew to Krispy Kreme for a chocolately, sprinkled treat.







And for good measure...



We had a blast. It never ceases to amaze me how good my mom is with these kids. She loves those little Freds!
