2. My mom, grandmother, mother-in-law, and I went to see Julie and Julia last Saturday night. It was great. My mom will probably not appreciate me for admitting this on the blog, but she and I almost finished a large popcorn. Movie theater popcorn is GOOD, Amen?! After I got home from "the show" (as my grandmother says), I spent the next, oh, two hours looking up Julia Child recipes. Seeing that movie will make you want to put on an apron and conquer the kitchen! Speaking of which...

3. My sweet friend Dorothy shared a delectable recipe on her blog last week, and my mouth has been watering ever since. She and her husband just moved to Philadelphia to go to seminary, and I covet their new northern friends who will get to taste Dorothy's southern cooking. I decided to try her Molasses Cookies recipe, and I'll never go back to the store bought ones again. They taste like all things Fall. Yum! Hurry up cold weather!

*You can access the recipe here. Thanks, Dorothy!
4. Update on the little man in the oven: we are officially half-way to his arrival, Lord-willing! I can't believe it. I am 23 weeks along, which, for those of you who think in months, is a little more than five months. Since school has started back, time is flying. I am giddy about this baby and cannot wait to snuggle him up and kiss his little cheeks. He moves around and kicks A LOT these days, and, not that it wasn't real before, but it REALLY sinks in every time he squirms. Sometimes when he moves, I just think to myself, "Wow, there's a little person in my stomach right now. Thank you, LORD, for this blessing. YOU are good."
5. Did I mention that spooning is no more in the Dudley home? Well, the three of us don't fit on the couch anymore. I was totally fine with the spooning situation, actually; But my sweet husband has slowly started making his way to the other end of the couch when we lie down to watch a movie or television. I guess the Big Spoon was starting to feel crunched by the "Little" spoon. That's okay, though, because now he rubs my feet when we get settled in on the couch. Heavenly.
That's all I've got for now, but I'll be back with a post about the nursery. Fabric and paint color decisions have been made! Have a good week!

Those cookies look tasty and, if I am not mistaken, molasses has something in it that is good for you but I can't remember what. Maybe Iron? So, healthy cookies!
I am looking forward to your post on the nursery.
